Message From Shayla
Welcome! I’m Shayla, and I’m honored you’re here.
Reaching out for support takes courage, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, seeking clarity, or simply wanting a space to process life’s challenges. My goal is to offer a space where you can show up just as you are and feel seen, heard, and supported.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in healthcare and education, experiences that shaped my commitment to compassionate care and nurturing growth in others. Today, as a Professional Counselor Associate, I blend these experiences with evidence-based practices to help you navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
I believe therapy isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about connection, understanding your story, and empowering you to tap into your strengths. Together, we can explore patterns, build coping strategies, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that need care and attention.
Creating a welcoming, inclusive space for every client is important to me, including clients exploring identity and those navigating stress related to societal pressures. I strive to offer culturally responsive care while honoring your values and lived experiences.
If you’re ready to take the next step or just considering therapy, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing and the life you want.
